Human-Centered AI, as described by Fei-Fei Li, focuses on creating artificial intelligence technologies that augment human capabilities, operate ethically, and are aligned with human values. This approach emphasizes designing AI systems that understand, serve, and empower people rather than simply replacing them. Fei-Fei Li advocates for interdisciplinary collaboration in AI research and encourages the development of explainable, transparent, and socially responsible AI technologies that prioritize human well-being. She is a professor of computer science at Stanford University, co-director of Stanford’s Human-Centered AI Institute.
